Spotlight: Formation Friday

Formation Friday is a school-wide opportunity to participate in teamwork, hands-on learning, and a healthy dose of fun!

Formation Fridays supplement the student experience with hands-on and off-site encounters with truth and beauty. They occur four times per trimester. To raise the stakes, some Formation Fridays are a competition between households with points awarded for the year-long competition for the Household Cup.

The Formation Friday below was themed ‘Made From Scratch,’ and students had an opportunity to use their hands for four challenges.

Create a Bow and Arrow from Found Objects

Create a Shirt from Scratch

Create a Working Animal Trap

Create a Pie from Scratch
